Education Qualifications:
• Educational Qualification for ALP (Asstt. Loco Pilot) Posts:-
(A) Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Armature and Coil Winder / Electrician / Electronics Mechanic / Fitter/ Heat Engine/ Instrument Mechanic/Machinist / Mechanic Diesel / Mechanic Motor Vehicle / Millwright Maintenance Mechanic/ Mechanic Radio & TV / Refrigeration and Air- conditioning Mechanic / Tractor Mechanic / Turner / Wireman (OR) Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above (OR)
(B) 3 years Diploma in Mechanical/Electrically Electrical Engineering (OR) Combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines from a recognized Institution in lieu of ITI.
• Educational Qualification for Technician-I Various Trade Posts:- B.Sc. in Physics/Electronics/Computer Science/ Information/ Technology/Instrumentation from a recognized University/ Institute.
• Educational Qualification for Technician-III Various Trade Posts:- Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the relevent trades.
• Educational Qualification for JE (Junior Engineer) Posts:- Three years Diploma in (a) Mechanical/Electrical / Electronics / Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Industrial / Machining/Instrumentation & Control / Tools & Machining / Tools & Die Making / Automobile / Production Electrical/Electronics/ Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Industrial / Machining/ Instrumentation & Control / Tools & Machining / Tools & Die Making/Automobile / Production Engineering OR in Any relevant field OR (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical/Engineering or any given field from a recognized University/ Institute.
Age limit:
• UR candidates : 42 Years (01.01.2024)
• OBC candidates: 45 years (01.01.2024)
• SC/ST candidates 47 years (01.01.2024)
Selection Process: . The entire recruitment process shall involve CBT, Computer Based Aptitude Test (for ALP) and Document Verification& Medical examination.
